Hi, I'm Kelly.
Psychologist. Photographer. Creative entrepreneur. And someone whose brain has approximately 37 tabs open at any given moment.
I grew up in an advertising family and went on to study Psychology, where I became fascinated by creativity and eventually wrote my Master’s thesis about it.
Since then, life has taken me through photography, entrepreneurship, interiors, travel and The Global Decor.
Apparently, it was all going somewhere.
The Global Decor started with my love for places.
Travel. Interiors. Architecture. Materials. The tiny things you notice somewhere else that you would probably walk straight past at home.
Over time, I realised I was interested in something bigger than beautiful places.

What changing your surroundings can do to your creativity.
And what happens when people who spend most of their working lives creating for others get some room for their own again.
That’s where The Global Decor is going now.
Creative Resets, experiences and tools for creative minds with a lot going on.
I believe in research.
I also believe in sings.
I have a Master’s degree in Psychology, so I’m perfectly capable of looking for rational evidence.
I’m also a complete sucker for signs.
Both played a role here.
While I was building The Creative Reset, I unexpectedly found this.
It was handwritten by my sister Michelle, who we called Sjellie.
She’s no longer here. So finding her words, at that particular moment, felt like one of those things you don’t really need to explain.

And then there's Stella...
My sister, my co-host at A Conquista and one of my favourite people in the world.
Stella is one of those people who makes you feel at home almost immediately. She’s warm, funny, incredibly thoughtful and somehow always notices what someone needs.
She also knows A Conquista and the Algarve inside out, which makes having her beside me for the very first Creative Reset feel extra special.
There’s genuinely no one I’d rather do this with.
